Wherever you are, you are one with the clouds and one with the sun and the stars you see. You are one with everything. That is more true than I can say, and more true than you can hear.

Contemplation is wakeful receptivity, though not passive, for this Openness transcends passive and active. In this Prayerful Quiet there is Nothing: Nothing to control, Nothing to grasp, Nothing to make happen. You allow, you do not seek to control.

For Nothingness is Everything, Emptiness is Fullness, Everywhere is Here, and Always is Now. In receptive openness, all arises and dissolves, simply and wonderfully, because that is the way of Reality. You do not have to become present, either, for you are awakened to Life-already-present, which is your life, not your life happenings.

No longer do you esteem reality based on personal preferences. However, personal is not negated. Personal is seen to be one side of personal-and-impersonal.

Here, in Grace, you have been consumed and are being consumed in the Fire of Love, joyfully. In this simplified, simplifying Activity you rest, for there are no demands, no ought to, no should do, only Nothing, but the Nothing that is the ground of Everything and, so, with all. You are with all.

In this bright Darkness, this florid Desert, this astonishingly diversified Singularity, Grace gentles you to live gently in a harsh, aggressive world. Contemplation is, then, the Garden of Eden, the Place of Always-Already Delight. You see this Garden as Delight, for no longer is Delight a matter of personal emotional states that arise and dissolve. Personal emotional states arise from One Energy and dissolve into the One Energy. Contemplation, then, is not an escape from the world, for there is Nowhere from which to escape; Heaven is Now, Here, inside, all around, beyond inside and outside, for you are in Life and Life is in you. Or succinctly, Contemplation is simply a loving gaze, without any need to add to that Look, regardless of what passing forms arise within the gaze of the Look. And, surprisingly, when you look with this Look, that Look is looking back, with the same adoring gaze. You discover, in this All-Pervading Awareness, you are blissfully adored in the adoration by which you adore.

We are each a lovely, pure Rose, in the Garden of Grace.
